I can say yes. Yes, the World can meet it's Climate Change Targets without Nuclear and make Climate much, much better.
By myself, I make a little thinking study about the use of the little bulb light!
Every one of us, billions on the entire Globe use this bulb everyday.
Every one of us go shopping in the next door store shop, and see the bulb light ON.
If go to the job work , it is there the bulb light ON.
I go to the train station or in the train, the little bulb light is there ON.
If you go to the airport; it is there also ON.
When you go on the weekend to the Shopping Mall; it is there, the little bulb light ON.
And how many bulbs lights are there? Thousands? Millions.
If you go take a look on the NASA or Google Earth pictures, at night, you will see that little light dots, and there in each of that light dots, are thousands, if not millions of light bulbs.
And not mention the other side of the Planet Earth, that is daylight, and in a couple of hours will be dark night, and millions of people will turn ON the little light bulb, and then will be billons of bulb lights ON.
So, my study was on about:
One light bulb of between 20-30 watts produce heat, and think on how many degrees Celsius will be on all of these billions if not trillions of bulb lights that are ON all night and all together.
And now a days even during the daylight many cars and persons at the job and at home turn the bulb light ON. In these case are also billions of light bulbs.
My question for you is the following:
- Do you think all these billions of bulb lights watts that are in use - ON every night and every day all around the clock, do not contribute for the climate change, for the high tight sea water levels and growing temperatures around the Globe?
And all at once, how many cars are in use around the Earth very day and every night with the lights ON?
They are also hundreds of millions of vehicles with lights ON very day/night?
That will contribute for the climate change and high in temperatures on all the planet Earth.
Many persons could say; Oh, it is only a small car light bulb. It is only a car. But the problem is the millions and if not billions of cars running at once, and all together it produce heat to contribute for the hight of temperatures.
Some years ago. we can say 40-50 years, you go take a look to the same pictures, in the same spot of the Globe, and will see half of the half of the light spots that we have now a days!
My suggestion is not to turn of all these light spots on day or on night, even all the vehicles, but using clever relays in the bub lights that is only On when it is necessary, or mean when anyone comes!
Even in vehicles, it can be used clever features, like wide-screen night vision glass (that already exists) that is a special glass that we can see on the night without using the lights ON!
And with all these proposals we can drop the temperatures 2-3 and even 5 degrees C needed!
And my other question is; what you think of the above, and to propose to the ONU Council to impose/propose the use of these methods?
